All hand made and painted, Grapat uses primarily sustainably sourced beech or birch wood as well as non-toxic paints and finishes to achieve colours often found in nature. The dyes, all water-based allow the grain of the wood to show through, which helps Grapat achieve their mission of connected children with nature. The finishes are made with vegetable waxes and oils, which have a wonderful aroma for the first few days. Committed to protecting the environment, they also have 100% plastic-free packaging, which makes them extra special.
